NHS Jobs and jobs.nhs.uk are referenced descriptively only to identify the source website. All rights in NHS Jobs, jobs.nhs.uk, and associated content remain with their respective owners.

GetBleeped uses automated checks of publicly accessible recruitment listing pages to identify roles that may match a user’s selected alert preferences. Alerts link users back to the original source website to view the full listing and apply. All pages checked are publicly available without authentication — the same pages any member of the public can view in a browser. We store limited metadata needed to classify listings, send alerts, prevent duplicates, and link users back to the relevant source page.

We do not:

• Access any login-protected or employer-restricted content
• Reproduce full job adverts or host application forms
• Require users to apply through GetBleeped
• Represent our listings as exhaustive — we are not liable for listings our system misses

Automated checks are performed at a controlled rate designed to avoid unreasonable load on source websites. We respect applicable technical access controls and may suspend or modify monitoring if a source website changes its access rules, technical instructions, or terms.

Source websites currently monitored may include jobs.nhs.uk and other publicly accessible NHS recruitment websites. GetBleeped is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any source website.

GetBleeped operates its email alerts and marketing communications with reference to UK GDPR and PECR requirements:

• Consent: Service alerts are sent to users who request them and confirm their email address. Promotional emails beyond service alerts are sent only where we have an appropriate lawful basis and provide a clear unsubscribe option.
• Identification: Every email clearly identifies GetBleeped as the sender.
• Unsubscribe: Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that immediately deactivates alerts.
• No deception: Subject lines and content accurately describe the purpose of the email.

GetBleeped processes personal data (email addresses and role preferences) in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Key principles we follow:

• Lawfulness: Processing is based on contract performance and legitimate interests.
• Purpose limitation: Data is used only to provide the alert service.
• Data minimisation: We collect only the data necessary to operate the service (email + preferences).
• Storage limitation: Email addresses and role preferences are normally deleted or anonymised within 90 days of unsubscription or cancellation, unless we need to retain limited records for legal, tax, fraud prevention, security, dispute, or accounting purposes.
• Security: Data is stored in Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit.

Where personal data is processed outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards used by our processors, such as adequacy arrangements or standard contractual clauses where applicable.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. GetBleeped does not store full card details. Stripe processes payments under their own Privacy Policy.

GetBleeped alerts are generated from information available when our system checks the relevant source website. Listings may change, close, be withdrawn, or contain errors. Users should always verify closing dates, eligibility, salary, visa requirements, and application details directly on the source website before applying.
